The
80's brought us big hair, leg warmers and Cyndi Lauper.
Darren's new single Crush (1980 Me) is a tribute to these
and all other things from that decade. If you have seen
the video for Crush you will know what I mean. Crush
is four minutes of Pop that is fun and very danceable.
If you remember the 80's you will love this song!!
The
'Mayday "Disco Biscuit" Mix' is a short, fast
and very upbeat remix of Crush that will make you want
to get up and dance like it was the 80's. Very Cool!
The
F3 Mix of Strange Relationship is a very funky remix
utilising horns to great effect to make a remix that
is very listenable. This is a remix that could be played
in a club where mostly top 40 stuff is played.
If
you love duets then you will love 'Right Dead Back On
It'. This song is a duet between Darren and Elisa Fiorillo
and is absolutely amazing for a demo recording. Done
in a different style to other b-sides, it shows that
Darren can perform well as a duet as well as in many
different musical styles.
The
single also includes the 'Insatiable (Acoustic Version)'
which shows off Darren's live performance capabilities.
This is a great acoustic performance.
If
you like Darren Hayes, love the 80's or just want to
hear a great Pop song then this is a must buy single
for you!
