THE OFFICIAL FAN CLUB
As you may know, tickets for the UK leg of Darren’s “Too Close for Comfort” Tour, go on sale to the general public this Friday. Tickets are either general admission (standing) or reserved seating (elevated). We have had a lot of e-mails and questions regarding Fan Club members only tickets. Yes there will be tickets held back for exclusive sale to members only. For those intending to join the Fan Club, please be advised that we have held back a limited number of the best reserved seats in the elevated areas. This is to ensure that those who intend to join the Fan Club will have access to some of the best reserved seats possible. You may choose to get your tickets as soon as they go on sale. If you prefer to wait and take advantage of the Fan Club offer, please be advised that the Fan Club has definitely secured a limited number of the best seats to offer on sale to those intending to join the Fan Club. We expect to be able to offer membership within 72 hours and will make these tickets available to members only for a period of two weeks or until sold out. Please visit www.darrenhayesmusic.com for more details. Until then, at a glance:-
• Membership will be $22.50 (US) plus postage and handling.
• Includes 4 quarterly issues of D-zine, the official colour newsletter filled with all things Darren related and exclusive.

Some info about the tour:-
• Most venues will offer general admission on the floor and reserved seats in the elevated areas.
The floor is for those who want to rock out, and the reserved seats are for those who want a better view.
• Fan Club tickets are a selection of the best and closest reserved elevated seats in the house. Members may purchase a maximum of four of these tickets only.
• Fan Club tickets will only be available for two weeks from the 28th June 2002 or until sold out. Any unsold tickets will then be made available to the general public after this date.

False Rumours in Australian Papers
Posted Thursday, June 20, 2002 by lssilver
The article published in Todays Herald Sun and other papers around Australia is Not True. Columbia Records in the US has NOT dumped Darren Hayes as a High Priority act. This has been confirmed by Roadshow Music in Australia
Columbia Records have posted the following statement on www.darrenhayes.com:"We are both angry and disappointed about the false rumor that is circulating regarding Darren Hayes and Columbia Records. Darren is one of the most uniquely talented vocalists and songwriters in the world today. The Columbia Records family worldwide consider him to be one of their most gifted and valued artists, and he is always treated with that respect. We have no intention of ending our successful partnership with Darren Hayes. He is now, and will continue to be a major priority to the label, both in North America and abroad".
A Statement from Will Botwin, President Columbia Records Worldwide.
