Darren on Rove Live Compilation CD and DVD
Posted Thursday, October 31, 2002 by lssilver
Darren will feature on the new Rove Live Compilation CD and DVD titled 'ROVE LIVE SOME MORE MUSIC'. The CD will feature Strange Relationship.
Below is some information sent in by Peter Davias from Soundworld
Rove is one of the leading TV presenters in Australia, his TV show Rove Live is one of the top rating TV shows in the country and on November 11th they are releasing their own live CD. The CD will feature 14 live tracks on a CD and the actual live performaces of those tracks on a DVD. Also the DVD will feature 3 live interviews, one of the interviews is with Darren himself! For more details about the tracklisting and other information please check the Sound World website (www.soundworld.com.au) The CD features some of the finest Aussie artists around, so if you up for a taste of Australian music we recommended this CD!!
We are still awaiting confirmation about what region the DVD will be in, although the strong rumour is that it will be region free and in NTSC and PAL format. If the DVD is not region free, it will be region 4 coding. Once we find out the information will be posted on the website.
You can order this CD now (released November 11) through Soundworld and HMV Australia
The DVD is also available from Soundworld and HMV Australia

Tour Updates
Posted Saturday, October 26, 2002 by lssilver
Due to recent political unrest in South East Asia and in particular the terrorist attacks in Manila and Bali, we have been advised to POSTPONE upcoming performances in Singapore, Taipei, Manila and Bangkok. The shows are by no means being cancelled. They will be rescheduled for the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2003.
Please understand this has been a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all those involved and attending the performances.

Singapore Show Cancelled!
Posted Tuesday, October 22, 2002 by lssilverDarren's Concert in Singapore is no longer being held at Fort Canning. It is now being held at the Singapore Expo Centre 1. Tickets are available from TicketCharge
It seems that the Singapore show has been cancelled according to the TicketCharge site. Refunds for this show are now available, details on the TicketCharge site
Please Visit The Forums to keep updated on this issue.
It is quite possible that there will be more cancelled shows in South East Asia due to the recent bombings in Bali and The Phillipines. Other artists (Oasis and the Red Hot Chili Peppers) have recently cancelled dates in this region due to the bombings.
