"Chic-a- Cherry Cola does not actually mean anything. Darren Wanted To sing
"Sweet Like Cherry Cola" but it didn't fit the song. Chica is Darren
stuttering on the line of the song.

Where Did The Name "Savage Garden" Come From?
The Name Savage
Garden came from the
Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles.
Describing the world as a "Savage Garden". It comes from the book
"The Vampire Lestat".

Is Darren Married ?
Darren in no longer
married, however he used to be Married to his College Sweetheart "Colby
Taylor". There are no pictures of Colby available so don't email me asking for
them.

Yes Daniel is
attached to someone back in Australia!
5. How and When Did Savage Garden Form?
Savage
Garden formed in 1993 when Daniel's band Red Edge advertised for a lead vocalist in
Brisbane entertainment magazine Time Off. Darren replied, got an audition and was
successful in the Audition. After a while Darren decided that he had enough of
singing other peoples songs and left the band. Daniel followed and they began
writing songs. Savage Garden sent out their first demo tape (under the name Bliss)
to 150 people in the Australian Music Industry. Everyone passed until John Woodruff
signed them up. He morgatged his house to pay for the recording of their debut
album.
6. How many awards did Savage Garden receive at
the 1997 ARIA's?
Savage
Garden collected a record-breaking ten ARIA awards during the 11th Annual ARIA Awards

7. Where Do I Get The Song Fire Inside The Man?
Fire
Inside The Man was originally released as a B-Side on the Original Australian Release of
I Want You. It has only recently
been found on the 14 Track Japanese Truly Madly Deeply CD. Both these CD's are
likely to be expensive and hard to come by. The song can also be found on various
Russian bootleg (not official) CDs.
8. Different Song Lengths?
There
are a few songs (mostly b-sides) that have different track lengths on different Releases.

- The Australian "Universe" single has a fade out during a final chorus - the UK
"Truly Madly Deeply" single (CD1) continues to play music for a while, until it
suddenly cuts off, as if someone forgot to do the fade out while mastering it.
I'll
Bet He Was Cool - The version on the Australian "Break Me Shake Me"
single is shorter by approximately 30 seconds than the version on the US "Truly Madly
Deeply" single.
To
The Moon & Back - There are several versions of this song. The Short edit
(4.13), Long Edit (4.32), Australian Single Version (5.04), Album Version (5.41).
There are also several remixes of this available.
I
Want You - There are two versions of I Want You. The Radio Edit (3.37) and
the album version (3.51)
There
are also various tracks from the Affirmation album that have varying track lengths.
Most of these are simply a radio edit of an album version.

was the US Album Version which hit number 1 in America, not the Australian Mix.
